Supporting Gladstone businesses to grow, adapt and succeed

Here for Business is part of the broader Here for Gladstone initiative, which has supported the local business community since 2016.
Over that time, a range of programs have helped businesses build capability, improve performance and create real outcomes across the region.
Here for Business is a focused extension of that work.
It starts with a series of FREE, practical workshops designed to give business owners clear, useful advice they can apply straight away. These sessions are supported as part of the program, making them an accessible entry point for businesses at any stage.
From there, businesses can choose to continue their journey.
Here for Business also offers a suite of follow-on services, providing more tailored support for those looking to go deeper.
Some businesses will only need the workshops. Others may want ongoing support.
The structure is simple. Start with the workshops, then take the next step if and when it makes sense for you.

About the Program
The workshops are the starting point.
They are designed to help you step back, understand where your business is at, and identify what needs attention.
From there, Here for Business offers a range of follow-on services for those who want to go further. This can include support with planning, financial management, systems, growth strategies and other key areas of the business.
You can engage at the level that suits you.
Facilitated by UHY
The sessions are led by Tina Zawila
from UHY Haines Norton CQ.
Tina has been involved in the program since inception and has worked alongside many local businesses as they’ve built, grown and improved their operations. She has seen first-hand what works, what doesn’t, and where business owners often get stuck.
Tina works closely with businesses across all stages, from start-up through to growth and succession. The workshops draw on that experience, with a focus on real issues business owners face every day.
The advice shared is practical, tested and grounded in real business experience, so you can take what you learn and apply it straight away.

“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to business, but there are some fundamentals that apply to everyone. We focus on getting those right so you’ve got a solid base to build from.”
Tina Zawila - Director | UHY Haines Norton CQ
